Urbex in Buffalo - Orphaned History...

New Artvoice writer, Todd Natti in the latest issue...
Every day residents of Buffalo pass by the city’s historic structures unaware of their existence and past. Within these buildings are stories that indirectly shape the city’s present incarnation. They are histories that have been forgotten; stories that are untold. They hide in parts of Buffalo that people either do not know about or to which they do not wish to venture. They are orphans of time, neglected by the public, waiting to be rediscovered. read the rest
Very nice piece that captures the true spirit and high ethic of urbex. Just heard from Sean and the DK group about the schedule at The Hangman Gallery. Schedule is changing up a bit. Best call the gallery 416.465.0302 if you are planning on heading up for the show this weekend. The guys check in here, so I'm sure scheduling will show up in comments, too.

I think the gallery schedule remains the same.

It remains closed on Mondays, as per usual. Otherwise, open noon - 6 Tues-Sat and noon - 5 on Sun.

There is a quality even meaner than outright ugliness or disorder, and this meaner quality is the dishonest mask
of pretended order, achieved by ignoring or suppressing the real order that is struggling to exist and to be served.
